Travel Day 1 (early)

We arrived at SFO at 6:30 a.m. Plenty of time for us but cutting it close for our daughter who had to be back in SJ for her class.  The interesting thing is that I had set the alarm on my phone but FAILED TO ACTIVATE IT!  Woke up at 4:50 a.m. and we were about 25 min late picking up our daughter (who graciously took us  the airport).  Our flight leaves at 10:52 a.m.  for JFK.  We'll connect with Judy and Mary at Turkish Airlines check-in.  So far, so good!  BTW - took me a while but there actually is FREE internet access at SFO!
