We Have Arrived - Istanbul - Thursday Evening

Had slight delay leaving JFK - finally got off at 11:45 p.m. EST.  Turkish Air is the only way to fly!  We received (free of charge), a pillow, blanket, earphones (not earbuds) and a very nice travel kit!  Not only that but we were served a very nice snack, followed by a hot dinner (of which we chose what we wanted from a very nice menu), followed by free movies, followed by a hot breakfast.  However, flight was long.  Landed in Istanbul and were immediately hit with Brutal humidity.  Had to stand in the Visa Line (I told them I already had three Visa's - Chase, SWA and Marriott and wanted to know where the Master Card line was - jk!).  FYI - Visa - $20usd per. Then you have to stand in the passport line.  Total about two hours to clear.  Then to get bags and find shuttle.  Downtown traffic like NYC.  Took almost 1.5 hr to get to hotel.  Have some pics and will post tomorrow.  Our hotel is nice and in the heart of downtown.
